IGCSE Mathematics A* Tutor

- Pursued Degree in Mathematics (with Honours) from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), class of 2010.

- More than 5 years of teaching experience, specialized in Cambridge examinations such as Checkpoint, IGCSE and A-Level.

- Successfully created 79% of A* students who are taking Cambridge examination in the year 2017, 2018 and 2019.

- Strongly influenced by family education, ARVIS developed a strong interest in his study and obtained an immense amount of distinction in his study during Primary One until Secondary Six these periods of study life.

ARVIS CHONG also plays an important role in teaching and guiding students who are taking Malaysia Government examinations such as PT3, SPM and STPM. Funny and vivid, proficient in mathematical theory, open-ended ways of questioning are the ways used by ARVIS to ensure his students learning Mathematics in an easier way. He strongly believes that learning Mathematics is not about memorizing the formulas blindly, but is to embrace it and learn it in fun ways. There are students who are not very good in Math foundation, eventually obtained flying colours in their Math examination under the guidance of ARVIS.

A significant case is there was a student who failed his school Math examination, and under Arvis guidance, he eventually obtained an A in his IGCSE examination in just 9 months time! On the other hand, for those students who are having a fair foundation, after some technical skills training, they are certainly able to see their improvement in just three months time (from C to A)!

To meet the needs of more students, currently, Teacher ARVIS is setting up and opening E-Learning session, small group coaching and large regular class teaching, to fulfil the needs of a different group of people for better Math education. Read less
